More about this keycap set
What's Inside the Box
- Profile: OEM (standard height, sculpted rows R1-R4)
- Material: PBT plastic
- Process: Dye-sublimation (legends fused into keycap surface)
- Key count: 108 keys
- Weight: 400g
- Compatibility: Cherry MX stems and clones (Gateron, Kailh, Outemu, etc.); fits 61/87/104/108-key layouts
No keyboard included—this is keycaps only. The 108-key count means you get full coverage for numpad layouts plus spare modifiers for common TKL and compact arrangements.
The Colorway: Sage and Cream
Ghost isn't trying to be loud. The alpha keys (your letters and numbers) sit in a desaturated sage green—think dried eucalyptus rather than neon. Modifiers (Shift, Enter, spacebar, etc.) shift to an off-white cream that softens under warm desk lighting. There's no novelty art, no sublegends, no accent keys. Just two colors working against each other in a way that hides dust and doesn't fight your existing desk setup.
The dye-sub process keeps these colors embedded in the PBT itself. Unlike pad-printed legends that sit on top and wear off, these are physically part of the plastic.
How OEM Profile Feels
If you're coming from a stock mechanical keyboard, you already know this shape. OEM profile uses a stepped height curve: bottom rows sit lower, home row rises slightly, number row peaks, then function row drops again. Your fingers travel in an arc rather than lifting straight up.
PBT adds the texture. The surface has a fine grain that resists the glossy polish that develops on ABS caps after months of use. The combination—familiar sculpt, matte plastic, sunk-in legends—makes for a typing experience that doesn't demand adjustment. You put them on, you type, they stay looking the same.
Why Dye-Sub at This Price
Dye-sublimation is typically the budget-friendly alternative to double-shot molding. Instead of injecting two separate plastics, the manufacturer prints dye onto paper, transfers it to heated PBT, and the ink gasifies into the plastic surface. The result: permanent legends that won't fade from finger oils or friction.
At $19.99 for 108 keys, this is dye-sub working as intended—functional durability without the manufacturing complexity that drives costs up.
Will This Fit My Keyboard?
Does it work with my switches?
Cherry MX-style十字轴 (cross stem). If your switches have the plus-shaped stem—Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu, Akko, most Epomakers, Keychrons, etc.—these fit.
What about my layout?
The 108-key set includes:
- Standard ANSI alphas
- Full numpad
- Standard bottom row (1.25u modifiers, 6.25u spacebar)
- Extra keys to cover 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL, and full-size boards
Non-standard bottom rows (like some Razer or Corsair gaming boards with 1u Windows keys) may have compatibility gaps.
