Does this fit my Keychron K2/K4/K8?
Yes. Keychron uses standard Cherry MX stems and OEM profile by default, so these mount directly. The K2's 84% layout uses most of the 87-key coverage; the K4's 96% layout uses nearly the full 108 keys.
How does OEM compare to Cherry profile for gaming?
OEM's taller height means slightly longer travel between rows. Some gamers prefer Cherry's lower profile for faster key presses; others stick with OEM because it's what their muscle memory knows. The PBT texture provides more grip than smooth ABS, which helps in humid conditions.
Will the Game Boy colors match my setup?
The olive green pairs naturally with walnut wood cases, beige plastics, or black anodized aluminum. The cream white works as a neutral against most board colors except stark white, where the vintage tone shows its age. Avoid pairing with RGB-heavy builds—the solid colors absorb rather than reflect light.
Is dye-sub better than double-shot for this price?
At $19.99, double-shot PBT in a 108-key set doesn't exist. Double-shot requires two plastic injections per keycap, raising costs significantly. Dye-sub achieves similar durability for legends at a fraction of the price, with the limitation that you can't print light colors on dark bases. For this colorway—dark legends on light and medium bases—dye-sub is the correct and economical choice.
