More about this keycap set
What's in the Box
The 112-key count covers most layout needs: standard ANSI, ISO enter, split spacebar support, and enough extras for 65%/75% boards with blocker keys. Weight sits at 400g—typical for thick-walled PBT. Cherry MX stem compatibility means Gateron, Kailh, Akko, and other cross-mount switches all fit. No keyboard included, just the caps in a simple tray.
The Color Story
Alpha keys wear a desaturated rose that avoids the bubblegum trap most pink sets fall into—closer to dried petals than fresh candy. Modifiers shift to warm cream, with Enter and Escape picking up deeper cranberry accents. The dye-sub process embeds the heart illustrations and "LOVE" legends into the plastic surface, so the imagery won't scrape off with fingernail or keycap puller abuse. PBT's natural texture gives the rose alphas a fine-grained feel, the cream modifiers slightly smoother from the dye-sub heat treatment.
How OEM Feels Here
OEM Profile needs little introduction—it's the height and sculpt pre-installed on most mass-market keyboards. Rows R1-R4 each carry distinct angles, with R3 (home row) sitting lowest and R1 (number row) highest. The sculpt keeps wrists relatively flat without the aggressive forward tilt of SA or the flat plane of XDA. For this set specifically, the PBT material adds dryness: fingers don't stick, oils from skin don't glaze the surface the way they would on ABS. The result is consistent friction through long sessions, no shine developing where pinky fingers rest.
Who This Fits
The Valentine's theming is present but restrained—hearts appear on modifier corners, not across every alpha. That makes it viable beyond February: the rose/cream pairing reads as neutral-warm on white or silver keyboards, complementary against navy or forest green cases. For boards with north-facing switches, OEM's height clears most Cherry-profile interference issues. RGB backlighting will show through legends dimly (dye-sub doesn't create physical holes), but the cream modifiers catch light softly.
Common Questions
Does the pink color match real photos or is it oversaturated?
The dusty rose alphas photograph slightly warmer than they appear in low light—under daylight or warm desk lamps, the mauve undertone becomes more visible. It's intentionally muted, not neon.
How does dye-sub compare to double-shot for this price?
At $29.99, double-shot PBT in 112 keys doesn't exist—manufacturing two-layer molds costs more. Dye-sub here achieves the same permanent legends by baking ink into the plastic surface. The tradeoff: legends sit flush with the key surface rather than raised, and very bright backlighting won't shine through.
Will this fit my Keychron K2/K8?
Yes. The 112-key count includes the 1.75u right Shift and extra bottom-row keys (1u Alt/Fn/Ctrl) that 75% and TKL layouts require. Keychron's non-standard bottom row on some variants is covered.
